Candy CDi 2012-80 built in dishwasher problem

Hi - can anyone offer advice? My built in dishwasher seems to have stopped drying - it beebs continuously when it seems like the wash is finished but there is no cloud of steam when you open the door the programme light is flashing - the contents is still wet and it won't shut up till you hit the power button. Do I need an engineer or is there a part and a DIY fix possible?

Is it actually finishing the cycle, constant beeping is usually to tell you that the cycle hasn't quite finished and that it needs more time to dry.
If right at the end of the cycle your dishes are wet and cold then, something is wrong with the element or the controller telling it to heat up. dishwashers dry the dishes by the residual heat in the dishes built up during the wash cycle
