Hello i have purchased a carpet and after 2 months a patch appeared, after having it inspected they inform me its called shading and is almost expected. I knew nothing of this, after discussions they will replace it or credit and remove. Can anyone tell me of a decent carpet plain that will not do this as it seems pointless to replace with something that will do the same.

every carpet does this! Pattern carpet will hide. If plain then you need to steer away from velvit finish and deep pile carpet. Try a rugged looking twist.
