Hi all,
I am renovating our bathroom and we're stuck with the location of the toilet. The walls are 20" thick and the waste cones through in cast iron. I have exposed a much of the pipe as I dare because I need to move the toilet away from the window.
I plan to cut the pipe inside the wall and fit the pvc in the picture.
Questions:
1. Would it be a big issue building the wall back up, essentially burying the connectors? I'm planning to use both the push fit and flexible for good measure.
2. Has anyone got any tips to cut the cast iron further back in the wall? I don't really want to dismantle much more of the wall to use a reciprocating saw. I have seen internal discs that can be attached to a drill. Has anyone used these?
Thanks.
Kev
