Hi, I have some 240v downlighters in ceilings under roof spaces. I removed a couple to see if they are the sealed type or if they have insulating covers/boxes fitted. They aren't sealed in any way. Also the loft insulation has been laid directly over the top of them and is in contact with the back of the lights.
Do these lights conform to the relevent regulations for a, safety and b, insulation?
The planning permission for the development was granted on 23 June 2005 and the house constructed shortly after that.
Any advice would be much appriciated. Thanks.
