hi, i am replacing my ceiling light with a new Dar lighting fixture the instructions that came with the new light say :This fitting is double insulated (Class 11) therefore no Earth connection should be made.
i have at present a live/neutral/earth going to the ceiling rose, do i tape the earth up and leave it spare anyone help with this please.
the new light has a transformer built in running 12v 20w bulbs.
 
sleeve the earth (it should already have G/Y sleeve on it) and terminate it in a bit of terminal block.
