Central heating pump

Gentlemen you are not behaving in in a civilised manner or in the spirit that is expected in this forum.
That is to be courteous to other posters and offer friendly help where possible.
Quite apart from that you have not answered his question.
He asked for a reason why he should not replace the original pump, that is a sound technical reason. Clearly none of you were able to give him that but chose to hurl insults.
Shame on you.

Thanks Ian

It might be a sound technical question; to whit he was given a sound technical answer along with some witty (perhaps) remarks that he took exception too.

He can fit the pump, it may well work. But if has been seized for a time it might not last too long in which case he will have to buy another one anyway.

Frankly I really don't care though.

Thank you ian and cantaloup.
After watching tomplumbs video on unseizing pumps I have always intended to refit the pump and just wanted to know if it needed lubricating.
Iwas perhaps given a reason not to lubricate but never a reason not to refit.

I didn't notice any wit, just arrogant smart arsery with a helping of zenophobia.
