I have been given conflicting information regarding laying ceramic tiles on my kitchen floor. This is a new build house and the floor is not concrete - one person tells me the tiles will crack!! another says to lay plywood! I would like to know if it is acceptable to lay plywood is there a special way to lay it should it be glued or nailed?
