What is a certificate of complaince? Is it a minor works cerfificate to say repairs have been made?

Supply company wnot put supply back on until recieve cert of compliance as theior was fault on DB which has now been cleared but want COC before returnig supply, will minor works be enough?

AFAIK they normally want either an EIC or a PIR. I suspect that a MEW will probably not be sufficient.

Why not ask them if they will accept the MEW?

So its just a case of giving them a PIR cert? It's just they rang today asking for a COC before returning supply. I had done a PIR for main contractor but supply was down due to fault. Fault was rectified but they want Coc before returning power, so if i leave a copy of PIR will that be sufficient?

Providing the PIR is 'satisfactory' then I can't see a problem.
