which model is it as have had to change a pcb for the britony and several other bits on one recently to sort out a similar problem

A friend of mine asked me to price for a new boiler, and I priced for a Worcester. He subsequently had a Chaffy installed (not by me) and is on his 3rd PCB. He could have bought the boiler himself due to the amount he has spent on it. Same fault as yours.
I now have one on the van (bit like the suprima upgrades).
Use 1 a week.
