Charity shops

In a civilised society charity shouldn't be required. Causes should come from a fund by UK Gov Corp.

As long as people give to charity for cancer scanners, medical equipment and ( add in any charity cause) the Govenment is being let of its responsibility to the population.

It is sinfull that we allow them to duck their responsibilities, and abhorrent that such organisations have a tier that then blows funds received on internal costs and large salaries for the top table.

Sally Army? 98% of donations used internally!
Why?

Are we to assume you are happy for the Government to just keep increasing your taxes ad nauseum to pay for it all?

Na, he probably thinks the government has a magic money tree.

Charity for overseas makes sense, but in 2012 in the UK when you have a cancer why should a charity donation be required to provide you with a potential fix?

Sorry if you disagree, but when we can afford wars, afford overseas aid, but can't afford to support home grown needs sadly funded by charity does that not rackle?

See my logic is that Uk charities bail out the Gov from responsibility that if the charity didn't exist they would have to accept.

So if someone suggested another 1% NI would allow allow you to have all the health care you and yours would ever need, that our ageing mum and dad would be cared for, that you child born ill could be made better, you'd say no?

Personally I'd block immigration for 5 years, force the idle to contribute and such measures would provide surplus funding that could be redirected.

Charity as an absolute need to fund Uk causes really shouldn't be required in 2012, it allows the people in charge of us to shirk there responsibilities.

Smart 4rse, how's about something a bit more constructive?

Supporting or disputing a comment is good, but being a troll is so low rent. Exercise those few brain cells and lets hear it.
