Unsubstantiated ( ?) reports from Ukraine that the Russians have used chemical weapons in
Mariupol ??????

Not going to be easy to establish, especially if they used non-persistent nerve agents.

I'm sure a BBC bleeding heart will be along soon to let us all know. A well placed teddy bear should add a touch of pathos to the scene.

Lots of reports popping up of Russians using chemical weapons. All seem to have decided the facts before knowing them. Other reports say the nauseous gases may have come from a manufacturing plant. As always, media reporting should be treated with caution.

So far, this one sounds as though it should be below reporting level.
Nasty burning plastics and whatnot could account for what's being reported.

One thing after another in the western press lacks reasonable attempts at verification. It doesn't help.
