Choice of floorboards

your choice really note the coverage for 210is 196mm
aaaaand note there comments
"natural Shrinkage Please be aware that the flooring will shrink laterally by 2.5 – 3% when fitted in a normally centrally heated home. This is normal and should be considered if flooring is not to be covered and remain visible."

and in case its not clear shrinkage and expansion is across the board width and virtually zero along its length

The concern wasn't shrinkage or expansion; was cupping.

get them down as soon as possible to avoid the maximum risk off cupping this reduces the chance off cupping to the minimum but increases the shrinking risk through not acclimatizing in the room concerned

I had once issue when wood planks were cupped but that was my fault as I stored them wrongly; standing up against wall.

Planks are not getting cupped at warehouse where they are stored horizontally and for long periods of time.

I thought those "lost tite" type screws were for driving at an angle through tongues so that they are hidden by the groove from the next board, just like lost nails are when using a flooring nailer?

So if you're not using T&G boards....
There are 2 different types:
1. Tongue tite for angle thru T&G boards
2. Lost tite; semi hidden finish when installing timber panels. The link: https://www.screwfix.com/p/lost-tit...MImLil1tvBkAMVtJxQBh2eQCdkEAQYASABEgLXyPD_BwE
