tiling is not one of them!

They're going up but it's a slow process. Having to clean so much adhesive off the face of the tiles as everytime I apply one addy oozes out the grout lines - at this rate I wont be needing to grout!
I swear the tiles aren't all the same size as I have a slight rise in the grout line at one point, either that of the spacer isn't the 2mm advertised.

BAL Single part flexible.

Not confident i've mixed it to the correct consistency but I phoned the technical folks and the bloke said to cut a groove in the mix and if it stays then it's the correct consistancy.

When I have another crack at it on sat I'll probably mix it up stiffer.

Hmmm, wouldn’t expect any problems with that!
should grab & stick like the proverbial to a blanket, sounds as if you have mixed it way too thin; what background are you tiling onto?

What size are the tiles and what notch size are you using?
When you put the tiles on the wall fit tight against the previous one then move it for the spacer, this reduces the amount of adhesive that will come out the grout joins.

Don't be so worried about cleaning each tile as it goes up,put up a dozen or so then give them a clean off,I use a 2" paint brush to clean out the joints as I go.

tiles are 300x200mm ceramic.

I was getting better towards the end, we'll see how it goes when I resume on Sat
