Cistern Valve Problems

Having problems with my toilet cistern valve, the one I have works with a top mount push button. But the fittings on the valve don't seal properly once flushed and the water continuously seeps in, and because of this the outside of the cistern becomes all condensation and the pipes leading into the cistern, and the water also ends up dripping onto the floor.
I think it's just a cheap a valve set up.
So I am going to buy a new valve set up, was just wondering if there is any specific types I should go for and what would be the best.
