Cladding

I am thinking about using brick cladding on a block extension,has anyone experience of fixing these.Can it be done with a tile type cement or just mortar.The cladding is brick slips approx 12mm thick

Brick slips should be fixed with an epoxy or polyester resin.

Plain mortar (and I suspect tile cement too) will not allow for the contraction/expansion of the panel nor frost action

Thanks Woody could you reccomend a brand of adhesive?

No, I've never had any dealings with them.

I would suggest a google, as any supplier would presumably supply suitable adhesive too
