Thats OK.

I appreciate that others comments were "banter" ( or worse! )

Tony

Without gettin too involved in thi discusion.. I have lost count of the number of back boiler i have desooted with the comment i don`t know why it has done that my huband hoovers out the frtont every year.

The basics are simple if you know what they are and lethal if you don`t

Swallow do you now understand that this type of work is NOT in the DIY scope and unles you can prove competancy you CANNOT and SHOULDNT do it

:)

OK I am not trying to pick a fight. I started out politely asking advice as to whether cleaning this boiler was a diy possibility. The reply I get is
''What the f*** do you think the major part of servicing involves?'' I doubt if this would be the reply in a face to face situation so why this abuse cos we are online.

If read with your eyes as thoroughly as you comment ******************** you'll see that was not directed at you.

Agile your exactly what makes forums like this a waste of time. I guess you feel your being smart.

I advised you quite politely that if you wanted to service your boiler then you would need an FGA.

You then posted that bit of rudeness!

I am a serious boiler engineer. I dont engage in any "banter" but instead just give serious advice.

Have you heard of the expression "casting pearls before the swine"? Do you know where it comes from?

Tony

Look at you with your bold fonts.
