. Recently had two new tyres fitted on the front of my 02 Clio. Was driving down the motorway and mid journey I developed a major vibration through the steering wheel when traveling above 75-80mph, Took the car to another tyre fitter and asked for it to be balanced- He said that there was a slight buckle in one of the wheels and that he couldnt gaurantee that balancing would sort the problem - and it hasnt. I couldnt understand how my wheel could suddenly become bucked as I havent hit anything and was on the motorway when the prob developed. Also I have only had this problem since the two new tyres were fitted.

Does anybody have any general advice??

Cheers

Don't exceed the speed limit and you'll never have a problem.

firstly is it remoulds? has the tyre got a bulge?

secondly sounds like it wasnt balanced correctly

thirdly did tht tyre changer damage the wheel?

you can either use the wheel as your spare, buy another wheel at a scrappie or dealer

take it back to original tyre place
