SO according to google there are 66.65 million people in the UK, so why have we ordered over 300+ million doses of vaccine?
And how much will all that cost us?
and when boris and his mates sell the excess off who gets the dosh?

The precise ammount is in the contract that has been published.

And that amount varies on whether it is expressed in £'s, €'s or $'s.

EU are sending in their own investigators. Ecause they don't trust / believe what AZ are telling them.

Becuase AZ have been obtuse and vague with their explanations.
For instance, they claim that the UK contract does not allow them to export vaccines from the UK plants.
UK government denies this.
Who is telling the truth?

It's all for show for the public so they can blame us nasty Brits for their failings.

They're trying to get to the bottom of the mystery in why the delay of vaccines to EU. Nothing is simpler than that. You're just stoking division and vaccine nationalisation.

It's a transparency process. Nothing more than that.
It is not a blockade, nor an embargo nor a block, unless any vaccine manufacturer is breaking their contract with EU.
Then the system kicks in to find out how, and who is breaking their contract with EU, and why.

Other countries outside the bloc may retaliate the same way, and not allow export of vaccine made in their country be exported to the eu

It's a process to ensure transparency. To provide information on the export of vaccines, and the possibility of broken contracts.
Why would anyone not want transparency?

transam, you come across as the sort of person that, when confronted by two little lads arguing, you'd egg them on to real fisticuffs.
