Cold tap with no water running?! (no idea...)

Hi there all,

So in our kitchen we have a tap that runs both hot & cold water (I'm presuming this is what you call a mixer tap, but not sure...)
The hot water runs fine through it, but when you turn the cold one on the tap handle just turns round & round but it doesnt run.

Nothing odd has happened it just stopped working one morning. The cold water runs throughout the rest of the house and the hot water is fine running through the same tap.

Any ideas? I'm guessing its the actual tap itself?

Yes its probably the tap, chances are it can be repaired.

You probably need a new tap valve. Unfortunately there are hundreds to choose from. You might be able to buy a tap reviver kit depending on the style of tap. Can you post a pic?
