COM IP - Problem Notification (and test call)

Hello,


I have just installed a texecom Elite 24 system with a Com IP for accessing it via the internet/ mobile app/ push notification, but I have a problem with notification. I don’t receive a mail.

I parameter the com ip. It work correctly with Wintex and mobile app.

I completed the setup below :

When I test a call test with “UDL / Digi Option”/”Start Test Call”, I have :
- Initialising….
- Please Wait ….
Then
- Com 1 idle …….
- IP Connecting…
Then
- IP Connecting…
- IP Sending……
Then
- Wait clear Delay
- Com1 Resetting..
Then
- Com 1 Resseting
- Com 1 idle …….
Then
- Com 1 idle …….
- Com300 is idle
after it block in this step

if your not receiving the mail but receiving notifications to the tablet or smart phone, check that the email address assigned in the notification side of things is correct and that its not ended up in your junk folder?

okay, if that's the case it sound like you haven't had the app setup for notifications properly. Assuming that the panel is setup correctly, from the screen shots it would appear to be, then if you have done the port forwarding on the router.

The panel churns out the data to the server, the server sends it to your phone and to your email address.
if your struggling with the phone post a screen shot of the notifications screen.
 
You may need to setup SMTP settings and point to an SMTP server to get emails sending from the Panel.
 
if you are using the texecom app system it will email you to your email address from a Texecom gmail account. As Texecom (gmail) are sending the email all you need is the correct address in the system.

If you phone isn't set up to receive the emails then you will need to set that up.

If you were using Montex/ Texbase then you would need your mail server settings for it to work as the email is coming from your email account.

I set again the parameters tonight with keypad.
It doesn't work. When I test call, I have almost same result :
- Initialising….
- Please Wait ….
after it block in this step

More over, my rooter is correctly setup because I'm able to connect with app which the IP adresse of my providers.

It's work :D:D:D

I realized my mistake.
When setting on the keyboard, I did not use the account provided by Application ...

Now I can leave on vacation quietly :whistle:;)
