I have installed the com-ip on com1 of the board. The reason is the the com-gsm (to be fitted later) instructions state on 24w it should go on com 2.

The board has an ip address and is on the network.

I cant connect via IP but can do so via usb cable

Wintex diagnostics show

Com 1 Power On with a red button.

Please someone tell me how to clear this fault?

Many thanks.

what fault?

the comip needs to be programed correctly, connecting on the same network shouldn't be a problem, connecting from the outside world maybe a problem if portforwarding isn't set up correctly.

Logon to your broadband router to see connected devices. Just to make sure it is connected (is it a home made Ethernet cable you're using if so have you got a tester, to make sure you've not got a bad connection) On a windows PC, load up command prompt and type ping then space followed by the ip address and hit enter.

In the panel have you set COM2 to the correct device in the list?
