When I switch the hot water on the combi should switch the CH off and switch the hot water as main source but when I do switch the water on the light remains on for the CH like it is trying to heat the CH and hot water any ideas what could cause this?????

I was looking at a Worcester 24 or 28 CDI the other day and noticed that the CH light stayed on when it switched to HW function, so I guess that's just the way they are. I suppose the light signifies that CH is called for, even though boiler gives priority to HW.
