so we have to replace the total heating system in the place we are buying

will have main bathroom and en-suite with an electric shower

never liked the idea of having a tank of hot water so we were going to have a combi boiler but someone told us not to recently

your thoughts ..................

no they havent been measured

its a house we are hoping to buy so will be updating the whole system

take no notice then, what is your cold water pressure & flow rate?

they are both fine

no they havent been measured

You need to at least measure the flow rate before considering a combination boiler, although a good installer should do this before recommending such a boiler to you. You also need to consider the hot water demands - for example, will there be body jets? Drencher shower heads?

some people will say combi FAB some will say combi CRAP, as long as you go for a good combi you'll be fine, once you have given us your water measurements of course, another better option would be system boiler and unvented cylinder, more expensive though
