For events like the world cup it is, but normal TV I cannot tell the difference, I have a mesh wifi system around my house and it is perfect, before I installed a mesh system it was pretty lousy.

The lounge tv is connected by a cat5 cable direct to the router but all of the bedrooms are connected via wifi
