Hello all,

I'm building an outhouse, 24ftx12ftx8ft tall, with a pitched roof made of 8x2rafters and 3/4 ply.

I'm using concrete blocks for the walls, but I note there are different strength ratings for the ones available.

What would be the minimum strength rating I should use?

The building is being done as permitted development and is exempt from building regs so there is no architect/structural engineer I can call on.

Some of the concrete blocks available have the word 'Scotland' tagged on to them - what does that mean?

Thanks.

Permitted development, forestry/agriculture.

The 'scotland' I think refers to building warrant needs in Scotland, but I dont know if that means a minimum Nm rating or similar.

No I'm not, PD forestry and agri builds are exempt from building regs.

Non PD forestry and agri builds are often not.

I assumed people would have known that, or not cared.

Any standard available blocks will be sufficient for a two and a bit metre high building.
