Yes once you have done the training you can offer the extended warrantee.

Log on to their web site www.worcester-bosch.co.uk, and you can see a distant learning program which is very impressive with virtual reality boilers etc, you can also get a CD training disc.

Weehee, this is one case where I am very happy to be proven wrong.

The 5 year deal is offered to Worcester BI qualifying installers on Greenstar products, oil and gas, until the end of Feb 08.

A similar promotion ran in 2007 for about 6 months.

If they are extending this permanently to all who have taken training I'd be interested to hear confirmation.

Gents,

The house is a three bed detached with 10 radiators, en-suite shower room, upstairs bathroom with bath and downstairs toilet. For roughly half the year it's only used for hot water (I still struggle with this warm english weather) and has ocassional heating use in the winter months.

I asked for quotes for a direct replacement and a combi as well as an estimate for any new pipe work that may need installed, so we'll see what comes back.
