Ok so I want to put some outside sockets in as well as some outdoor lights. I am planning to run conduit to the sockets etc as they have knockouts for it. However for the lights, most seem to be rear entry and I can't work out how to run the cable to them from conduit on the wall surface.

Anyone care to explain best way?

Thanks!!

Assuming you are talking round pvc conduit, this is not always very watertight.

Typically, you would fit a round conduit box and gasket to the wall, then fit the light fitting to this, assuming the fixing holes line up.

But it may not work, if for example the lights are smaller than the conduit (besa) box.
