Well you could shut the water off, and remove the packing nut on the spindle, pack the stuffing box with PTFE rope (or twisted PTFE tape), tape the nut threads and nip up the packing nut.
You could also release the spindle head from the body of the valve and replace the jumper washer. If the washer seat is not damaged the whole shebang might work effectively.
Or, simply replace the valve with new. Your call.
