Constant trickle fans -Fan isolators or fused spur?

Hi all

Cracking on with rewire on one of my properties and done x2 rings and ripped out all the old wiring etc.

Looking to fit x2 constant trickle fans.
One in bathroom and one in kitchen.

The kitchen one was fed from a switched fused spur (4" hole already there).

The bathroom one upstairs would benefit from a ceiling fan/ducting/vent tile tbh.

I like to fit Envirovent constant trickle fans with humidity sensor and boost function.

I also don't want them turned off 'to save electric/jeep bathroom/kitchen warm'.

Can I just use a non switched fused spur without as means of isolation?

You can - but do you not think tenants capable of removing the fuse?

PS - as to the OP , a fan isolator is just for that - isolating for maintenance etc and not as a functional switch (if needed).

I don't think they will bother to remove a fuse tbh.
The Envirovent fans are silent on when on constantly/trickle.
They will only be aware of them when boost is activated.

The reason is I have had this before with fan isolators being fitted and mould/no air flow in bathrooms and found fan isolators switched off.

Also is there an option to do this via the ceiling/inline fan with constant trickle/humidity boost?

One reason I put the fan isolator up near the ceiling, if someone really needs to get it switched they can, with a stick, if need be but not low enough to encourage a habit of switching on and off and possibly forgetting.

One of my other properties has them fitted above the doorway/entrance to bathroom and kitchen.
Tenant keeps turning them off as she reckons it makes the rooms cold.
Starting to get black mould in areas now and have never had problems before.

Mount them out of reach, and maybe add a - destroy by removing, signed seal across the switch.

Not the best place really! - The worst place is the height of the normal functional switch, I`ve seen plenty of those.
