I think that the OP has made it perfectly clear that he is happy with his experience with Worcester and wishes to stay with them , really cant understand some of the comments of so called professionals on this post
My point is not aimed at there maitanance... They are well trained and well backed up... I would however say their sub contracters installations are not as good, possibly because of poor installation prices.

Fair enough.
I'm very interested in the possibility of installing a shower pump, which if it would work with our current system would almost certainly negate the need for a boiler change to improve the hot water supply to a shower. I think its best to start a new thread in order to focus specifically on that possibility.
Meantime many thanks (again) for all responses to my query about conventional versus combi.

I have been a donor with a very old tatty card for years now. I have now reconfirmed my being a donor, ensured all my details on their system are bang up to date and got myself a new card.
AND, most importantly, I have told those close to me in the family that I am more than happy to donate anything of use when the time comes.
