Hi am installing new oven and induction hob have been told by one person the the cooker switch has to be visible but told by someone else that it can be put inside a cupboard any idea has to which is correct thanks.

Must be visible and easily accessible so it can be turned off in the event of an emergency.
Its useless hidden behind a pile of cornflake packets while the kitchen burns down.

Switch must be within 2 metres of the item you are isolating.
