Looks like no local installer is interested in touching the alarm system i've inherited (keep trying to upsell a new installation) so I'm wondering if theres a DIY option.
Basically the keypad came up with Unit low battery which as I beleive (very much a novice in this area) means the battery on the PCB is dying. It won't let me arm the system.
I've also managed to accidentally set the alarm off and press a load of keys whilst tinkering so the "excessive keys" error is now flagged instead.
Am I safe to open up the box containing the PCB or is it tamper proof?
Alternatively, does anyone know anyone in the west midlands/warwickshire area who might be able to help?
