If having copper pipe installed, which would be carrying potable water, is there any issue here with respect to the solder containing lead?

I don't know what solder contains, so was just wondering about this.

Thanks.

always makes me laugh this debate when still so many lead water supplies around..

When I contacted a plumber to ask about this (if he uses unleaded) he said he would use barrier Hep. (Though I had also asked about to make sure he'd be using Fernox potable jointing compound, so perhaps refers to this).

Is this a push-fit fitting rather than a soldered brass connection?
