Correct hinge to solve this problem?

New washing machine installed, which is deeper than the previous one. Now the kitchen cupboard door in the corner next to it doesn't open properly.

I think I need an offset hinge but struggling to find one. All I can find are 165 - 170 degree hinges - are these offset hinges?

no hinge will work in that situation
you will need to add a perhaps 75 to 150mm strip /post and hinge off that with a narrower door

as an aside that cupboard is now dead space and the washing machine will need to be removed clear to work on that cupboard [door needs to open to around 25 to 45 degrees to get too and release hinges]
you could remove the door and work with an open cupboard untill you work out the game plan
can you not work the machine further back with adjusting or moving pipework ??

Should have bought a different washing machine, you can even get extra slim WMs if it's such an issue.

other option iff you have a cabinet to the rhs not under a sink that you can move swap the machine to that position

So in your photo is the sack truck the WM was carried in on presumably, have you used it already? Otherwise you can reject it and get one that fits.

The rears design can vary so new machine may be same depth just fouling on pipes the old one avoided, did you measure ?

To be honest, I'm asking for a friend to help him out. Can't say I measured the old machine - I just helped him disconnect it ready for the new one to be installed by the delivery company. I didn't pull the old one out either to check how many pipes are behind.

Unless it's the angle of the pic deceiving me slightly, it looks as though the door will still open, albeit not fully?
