Please could I have an idea of what I should expect to pay for the supply and fit of:

- 152x152x30 steel beam 9m span, or spliced in 3 with 200x120x10 end plates

- 400x155x12 flange plates bolted to the steel

- padstones either either end 330x140

- a single SHS support column 100x100x5

- Any work related to temporary support of the front pitched roof during the installation (this is going into a loft) and the removal of the existing timber ridge board.

Scaffolding is already accounted for and the loft space is stripped back.

Thank you

Lol. What does the designers risk assessment say about that, and do you as client agree with it?

Anyway, you won't get any realistic idea of costs here. You need quotes from people who are actually going to do the work, know what they are doing and can do it safely. And typically, this is not the sort of isolated job those types of people quote for - or quote for reasonably.
