the Germans and French rule the roost.
1. Is that true though?
2. If it is, is it "just because ", or is it because they're better then we are?
3. If it's because they're better, would it not be good to improve ourselves, rather than run off and look for a smaller pond in which to be a "big fish "?

We are not paying a £19 billion a year membership fee or ceding any sovereignty.
Prove either of those claims as regards being a member of the EU...

You won't because you can't!

It is with trade deals.
Being in the building game I thought you would be well aware of the saying "sprat to catch a mackerel".
Seems to be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth by the remainers here trying to pick holes in the deal.
Free from interventionist rules from the eu to join this 'club' at the same time as being able to trade with the eu, what's not to like.
Remainers are coming across as them Luddite Chappies that used to wreck their looms.

Brexers come across as shooting themselves in the feet, and have done since the referendum.

They don't know where they should be aiming, or why

Oh, you seemed to have stated it as fact...

Utter blarney as usual.
Are we not suppose to supply facts (whether they stand up to scrutiny or not is another debate)
The site is about discussion of people's opinions is it not.

Seems that the opening post and the reporting by the right wing garbage, tried top dress it up as an antidote to leaving the EU.
"....A mega trade deal, and it effectively shuts the door on us ever re-joining the EU...."
The truth must be crippling to RWR gullible gammons.

For the dim (me), what improves for UK, given we already had trade deals with all these countries other than Malaysia and Brunei?
A few existing trade deals are stapled together in a shiny new folder marked plan b. So apart from a few ring binders pretty much sod all.

Blup
