Hi,
I'm preparing a planning application for an extension to my bungalow.
I've used Sweet Home 3d to create floor plans and elevations which I'm hoping will be acceptable.
I've also looked at the map provider sites and getting a location map and marking the boundary in RED seems straightforward enough.
However, I'm not sure how to do the block plan.
I can download a pdf at 1;200 scale from various providers, but can I use this as starting point for drawing on proposed extension and annotating boundaries etc , or do I need to draw the plan from scratch.
Can I import the supplied map into some free software and modify, and if possible technically is that ok from a copyright perspective ?
Thanks
