Cruella, the darling of the right

Its Iraqi Kurds who control the boat crossings, the Albanian gangsters aren't really in power. But all are opportunistically exploiting the UK to gain access to our drug and crime "economy". We wont break it until close to 100% are blocked are returned.
Kurds are the smugglers. It's easy for them to attract people due to a rather large difference in wages. They have seen it an ideal place to attract people that way. There is an option sometimes offered on payment which is where other crime kicks in. They are told all they need to do when they get here is apply for asylum. In practice that isn't so simple as acceptance levels will be low?

From watching too much news ;) think it was a BBC report. They visited a likely place. Lots have left. One earned £1.50 /hour. another was planning for the trip. I assume it was more a village than a town. Some may have gone elsewhere. Fair bet that they have. The poor old UK doesn't attract the most arrivals. Fact is that the crap handling of people might attract more. Takes a lot longer for people to be rejected and numbers just keep building up. 500 more people now to process them is shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. Seems that will take 4 to 5 months to do. ;) Maybe they will use immigrants. Mean while just shout about the arrivals. Relate it to people movement within the EU :ROFLMAO: but some will.

All Albanians are crooks etc best look through this and look at proportions overall.

Getting figures on Albanians that live here doesn't appear to be easy
In 2019, the Office for National Statistics estimated that 47,000 people born in Albania and 29,000 people born in Kosovo were resident in the UK

n September 2008 states that there were no official estimates of the total number of ethnic Albanians in the UK at the time. The majority of respondents interviewed for the exercise estimated the population to lie between 70,000 and 100,000.

They have been legitimate refugees at times.

Now
Albanians became the largest nationality group claiming asylum in the UK, with applications from 3,289 people. 53% of Albanian asylum seekers' claims were granted in an initial decision in the year to June 2022
Why - I have no idea. Why don't some ask the Tory? Surely it would be interesting to find out.

There are search hits to things like this

A 404 coming up? There's a surprise it's as though there's censoring going on on the internet.
I'd always put a cock up or fake news or it got overwritten, as a reason before censoring!. WHy would anone bother to censor? And the censoring would get reported.
It's not state security!
I half remember - it was a Albanian doc talking on one of the TV news channels.

Have you seen censoring reported?

The question is how would you know something has been censored, it's not like Google put a list out of what they've deemed worthy of censorship this week.
I remember well the early days of the internet and it being like the wild west, them days have come and gone.

The whole thing is like other areas. It should never have been allowed to get to where it is. The problem really is that stuff needs paying for. Whose going to vote for some lot that increase taxation. Made worse by one lot who are determined to reduce it and shift costs indirectly and take no real notice of the effects. Lets have Albanians as a headline - typical but it looks like things are not as simple as they suggest. Dig up what dirt is available on them as well. Yes it applies to all?

Things need a more balance approach really. One flavour of solution is unlikely to suite all areas. Clearer explanations might be a good idea as well rather than fanning flames.

It would be interesting to tot up all charges including the ones that are indirect. Privatised and council tax and etc if there are any others.

Starmer, 7,500 more for the NHS. Yes it can be done and probably be speeded up but training takes time. It's still a good solution as it changes the nature of the current problems and may result in a more permanent solution. He's been honest about quick fixes. Just maybes so far.
