Custom Bath Panel help

Good evening

I have recently installed a fantastic whirlpool bath in my home but i'm finding it difficult to find a gloss white bath panel for it.

The measurements required are 1700 x 650 (yes i have heard the "you need a ladder to get in there" jokes already!! )

I have found a company called Mereway that has a 1800 x 650 panel which uses a plinth to make up to 650mm but firstly its nearly £200 and secondly i would prefer not to have to cut the panel which could cause damage to the finish and cause problems with water damage in the future.

One sugestion i came up with is to buy 2 x panels and use one of the panels as an adjustable plinth. Could this work or does anyone have a better solution?

If i do this do you think a 200mm plinth will look ok?
