Hi all,
This is probably a very difficult or impossible thing to achieve.

I want to use the attached Normally Open Momentary (Retractive) switch to operate the PA. Looks a bit like a light switch but it'll do the job for me nicely!

I understand that a PA switch is typically a N.C switch but am hoping there is some setting within the Flex to assume a NO switch is attached. Even better if I can ignore tamper for that zone.

What I have done so far:

1.) Wired green into an available zone terminal on the PCB
2.) Wired yellow into the adjacent GND terminal
3.) Programmed the FLEX to make this zone of type PA
4.) Upon Exit, I get a Tamper related message

RESISTORS I hear you shout! I kind of knew this would happen but this is a N.O switch which complicates things. Suggestions?

Thanks!

OK, that was easy in the end. Zone Options. 9=Res. Select, I changed to Option 13 (NO 1kOhm EOL). No resistor required. Obviously a hideous fudge. This allows you to use any kind of switch as a PA button.
