Hi all,

I've had a very kind tiler tile over my extractor fan position so looking for solutions rather than re-doing the tiles. I see there are diamond hole saws on the market but they vary in price quite a lot. Can anyone recommend the best one to get? It'll be a one off use so it doesn't need to do any more than 1 hole.

Carefully drill out the perimeter with a smaller diamond bit.

Be prepared to crack it anyway.

I have drilled a 110mm hole in 300 X 600 tiles in one with a diamond core-drill. It was nerve wracking!
But remember, you also need holes for the extractor fan fixings, and these can be very close to the main hole.
This was my mistake - the first tile broke when I was drilling the last of the small fixing holes!
It was second time lucky :)
