cutting plasterboard

Any tips on how to cut plasterboard for a good straight clean cut?

Use a straight edge with a sanding knife to score a line on the ivory side and carefully fold it backwards to snap the cut open then cut the paper backing.
 
so its best to cut the ivory side thefold over towards the brown side?

Not heard of it, almost sound the same, the only one I know is a stanley knife. :oops: :LOL:
