Dada Kitchen cabinet hinge problem

I have a Dada Kitchen, italian brand from 1996. I can't figure out how to unscew the base of the clipon hinge. The screw heads are unaccessable it seems that I need to reemove the adjustment plate. Anybody seen one like this?

Isn’t that a fixing screw?

Yes that adust the height of the panel or door. there are 2 horzontal screws behind that fix what you see to the side panel

That is really odd. Image 2 looks like there is a screw hidden under the cruciform/ mounting plate.

That said, perhaps it is just a connecting screw between the two units.

As per @foxhole 's post, removing the screw that he circled should be sufficient.

The two slots exist to (ordinarily) move the mounting plate up and down.

The screw that @foxhole marked screwing it couterclockwise lowers the mounting plate then does not budge. Then other screw moves the plate left and right to its limit then doesn't budge. I could force then but risk stripping them. I seems that the cruciform plate should pop off revealing th.e mounting plate underneath. It is odd

Method 1: The Plate has a Cover Cap (Most Common)
High-end cabinet brands use sleek, branded metal covers over the plate to hide the raw adjustment screws.[1]

• The Fix: Look closely at the edges of the metal mounting plate. You will see a tiny seam or a small notch at the very back or bottom edge. [1, 2]
• Removal: Insert the tip of a thin flathead screwdriver into that small gap and gently pry outward. The metal or plastic trim cover will pop off, exposing the standard fixing screws underneath. [1, 2]

Method 2: Toolless Expanding Nylon Dowels
Some modern premium hinges use a "press-and-lock" mechanism that requires zero screws to grip the cabinet wall. [1]

• The Fix: These plates have built-in split nylon dowels that expand inside pre-drilled holes in the cabinet frame when a locking flap is compressed. [1, 2]
• Removal: Look for a small metal lever or a flip-up tab integrated right onto the face of the mounting plate. Insert a flat screwdriver underneath this integrated flap and lever it upward. This retracts the internal tension, relaxing the plastic grip inside the cabinet wall so you can pull the plate straight out.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it, I found the solution on an italian fai da te or DIY site. you need to adjust he cruciform until you can fit a smallm allen wrench in the hole
