Can I replace my danfoss 103 timeswitch with a sunvic 107XL? I know there may be a big of wiring alteration, but this is a lot cheaper than £60-70 for an electronic danfoss!

It depends on what you are controlling.
The Sunvic will only handle 6amps maximum.
Both timers are single channel so you should be OK
