dewalt drill

Hi,
i dont know where to post this as there isnt an equipment section. the battery on my dewalt 14.4v drill is fooked, its a 14.4v 1.3ah battery, can i use any 14.4v battery or does it have to be 1.3ah aswell?

Any battery that will fit the drill and charger mate, so long as the voltage is the same.
The greater the A/h rating, the longer the drill will spin.

1.3 ah is really really low for nicads nearer to 2ah the better with 1.5 the lowest you should aim for

Thanks for the replys, the drill is a hand-me-down from the farther in-law, he's a joiner and bought some new kit, so i got a dewalt 18v drill, jigsaw and circlelar saw, 14.4v drill and a 10v drill for free. Only problem was the battery on the 14.4v drill, its proberly give up due to the fact it doesnt last long and prob been charged a million times.
