dewalt DW005 dead

My dewalt DW005 24v hammer drill is completely lifeless. The battery is fully charged ( it works fine in my circular saw) but the drill is dead. Is this a fault anyone has come across? Switch maybe? Contacts?

I will probably have to strip it down and fault find with a meter. Just wondered if this a common fault or one someone else has come across already.

Check the contacts where the battery plugs into the drill first...these are prone to wear or being displaced.
