Not even a mention on here today about the heroes who fought and those who gave their lives so you could all spout your usual pish

Says gas112 who supports Fascist Trump

You should be ashamed, those people have their lives to give you freedom and you want it given away to an Orange man baby

An interesting question.

The only front page article I saw covering it was in the New York Times.

Sign of the times I am afraid, it would probably offend half the residents of the UK now to mention it.

I'd have thought someone in t'forum with extensive military experience would've popped along to remind us all of the great sacrifice made by the greatest generation.

I doubt it, on here it has shown a total disregard for anyone who have served in the military. This includes fallen Hero's. I would rather not mention them and show more respect. Funny how others have served in the military on here isn't it and not mentioned it either. They must have the same feelings.

Trying for yet another dig at other forum members?!

I remember once, it was the 40th D Day anniversary and i mentioned it to my Dad as it was on tv...he just wasnt interested. He just didnt want to be reminded.....

Not everyone who fought wants to remember or be a part of the parades...it can bring up very sad times etc..

each year, I attend a rememberence Sunday parade and ensure that my family also wears a poppy. A little known fact that I have never broadcast before is that I am actually a bugler. I also give my time to a lot of military funerals where I can.
