Did people forget the date ?

Point scoring on one of the most famous dates in our history dont talk nonsense as per usual. Brigadier yep certainly a rupert
Your initial post was point scoring.

Best you shut up innit:

Not even a mention on here today about the heroes who fought and those who gave their lives so you could all spout your usual pish

I am failing to see how his post was disrespectful tbh. I took it for what it was and reminding everyone of the importance of the date.

Ah that’s interesting, what pitch is it? Is it tunable? I believe some can only be tuned by embouchure

Sadly Im not musical but my wife is, she plays piano, saxophone, oboe, harp.
No it is not tuneable, you hit the different notes by your embourchure. The Bugle used in the British mmitary is standardised at Bb. Some can be tuneable but cheaper alternatives cannot be tuned, depends if you are playing with other buglars wether or not it needs to be tuneable.

I tried the saxaphone and loved it, it is a great instrument to play as well as learn on. A harp is a bit of a hard one to learn. We hired a girl to play the harp at our wedding reception.

yet again making a clown of yourself . As i initially said if it hadnt been for brave and selfless people you would not have been allowed to do this
No you didnt, you said this point scoring whining nonsense:

Ah ok, I know that there are a lot of different bugles, some are tunable.

My wife is a piano teacher, she mostly teaches beginners and lower grades although has taught upto grade 8.

The harp is a strange one, it’s a string instrument but is actually also a percussion instrument. She is a bit of a beginner on it as she only got it earlier this year. it cost £4,500 so,I’m always a bit scared of knocking it over.

Professional bugles are tuneable which is important if you are playing with other instruments or in a bugle troop. There is a slidebar that you pull in and out to tune it to everyones instrument as it sounds awful if they are all at different states of tune. We are all set at Bb in the UK military but others are in G and some are C. Bugles are difficult to get now as it is a dying art that is usually reserved for the military only.

I can only imagine serious damage if you knocked a harp over. Does she have a real piano or a keyboard?
