How do I paint barge boards at the end of the the house when there is a pitched single floor extension below them. Can I buy extension paint brush? I do not want to pay for scaffold which would cost the earth.
Thanks

you might be able to get a local scaffolder to build you something, I did that, he charged me for his time erecting/dismantling but the rental cost was not significant.

It only took him a couple of hours

(not a tower kit but ordinary builders scaffolding)

You can get a 3 metre roller pole from Screwfix - then use duct tape to fasten a brush to it. It's a bit Heath Robinson - but the funny thing is - it works.

Scaffold would cost around £300.
