I understand that some digital TVs are starting to come without an analogue tuner due to the demise of analogue TV in the uk.

This will naturally cause problems for those of us who use an RF output from a sky cable box to feed into the distribution amp to feed round the house. Is there a digital equivelent of an analogue Rf modular.

I tried googling but all I found was an analogue modular refered to digital because it had a digital readout to set the analogue output channel....

Most of the stuff I have seen in the past though has been commercial gear. Prices ranging from about £600 up! It seems there isn't yet a sufficient market to justify manufacturing a device. The technology is more complex and so more expensive.

Care when choosing a new TV seems to be the watch word. Buy a decent brand where the corners have not been cut. Caveat emptor
